Privacy

Your journal is private. Here's exactly what that means. Last updated August 2026.

A personal note: I created Meldoria to help us all reflect on our lives, build a healthy sense of self, and find purpose and meaning. That's the whole intention behind it. You can read more on the about page.

Meldoria only exists to reflect your own words back to you. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

What we keep

Your email (to sign you in), the notes you write, and anything you attach — photos or voice memos. Voice memos are transcribed to text. We also keep the letters and images Meldoria creates for you, and a little basic technical data to keep the service running.

How it's used

Your entries are processed to generate your letters, relics, and chapters, and to send the notifications you turn on. That's it. We don't use your writing to train AI models, and we don't sell it or share it for advertising.

Who helps process it

To create your letters and imagery, your entries are sent to the AI and infrastructure providers that power Meldoria (for example, model providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI, and email delivery via Resend). They process the data on our behalf and under their own terms — not to train on or resell.

Your control

You can sign out anytime, and you can ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email [email protected] and we'll take care of it.
